Stella Rebrand
Role: Art Director + Senior Graphic Designer
Client: Stella
Stella had already gone through a few rebrands and had launched one right when I started. The logo was working, but the rest of the brand could not easily expand to such a fast-growing brand on multiple channels.
Stella is a mental health company that provides medical treatments for symptoms like: depression, anxiety, PTSD, long COVID, insomnia, etc. The challenge was to look medical, trustworthy, scientific, and cutting-edge, while having no product photography, locations, or assets of any kind. Everything had to be conceived of from scratch, with the ultimate goal of explaining our brand and process to a population in a sympathetic, clear, and un-traumatizing way.
The rebrand was then applied in real time to ads, social, print, emails, informational one sheets, presentations, and the website.

Before
The brand was one dimensional, text was hard to read, and couldn’t easily expand in an interesting way into all the assets we would end up needing.
After
The brand feels more immersive, scientific & medical, engaging, and trustworthy.
